Bell Times/Daily Schedule

The following is the daily school schedule and bell times at Queen Elizabeth Public School.

Parents are reminded that there is no school supervision on the school grounds before 9:00 a.m.

Please do not send your child to school before 9:00 a.m.

The bell rings at the beginning and end of each recess and lunch.

Dropping Off and Picking Up Your Child

  • If your child needs to be picked up during the day, please try to do so during the nutrition/activity blocks 10:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. to reduce classroom interruptions.
  • Please remember: All students coming and going within the regular school day must be signed in and out of the office.  Please  do not ask your child to meet you out in the parking lot.  This procedure is for the safety of all students.

  • If you are picking your child up after school, please wait outside the front doors. 
  • Your child's safety is important to us. Please call the office before 3:00 p.m. to let us know you are picking your child up or send a note in your child's agenda if you are making alternate pick-up arrangements.
  • The gates into the playground from the parking lot will be closed at dismissal time.  We remind parents that ALL parents are required to pick up and drop off their students via the walking lane toward the crosswalk.  Students are NOT to be walking, alone,  through the parking lot to parents who are waiting in cars.  This is posing a safety risk for our children in a very busy parking lot full of cars and buses.  Please park your car in the parking lot or on the street, exit your car and come and pick up your child in the school yard and walk them safely back to your vehicle using the walking lane.
